I usually stick to sewing 2 dimensional things, but…

I am somewhat intrigued by this book, Sew What! Skirts: 16 Simple Styles You Can Make with Fabulous Fabrics. There’s a sew-along group on Flickr and some of the skirts people are making are so cute. I could figure out how to make some of these myself even without a pattern, but why not do it the easy way if someone’s already laid out good instructions?

Okay now I’m a little worried that y’all seem to be taking me seriously, like I might sew something at any moment. If you had seen my office / sewing room lately…

That looks like a cool book. If you’re going to sew anything three dimensional it should definitely be a skirt. It was the first thing I was taught to sew. Maybe once the office is cleaned up a little?

That’s one of the goals of cleaning up the office (again) before Xmas guests – that afterwards, I’ll actually be able to DO something in here besides type on the computer.
