I am somewhat intrigued by this book, Sew What! Skirts: 16 Simple Styles You Can Make with Fabulous Fabrics. There’s a sew-along group on Flickr and some of the skirts people are making are so cute. I could figure out how to make some of these myself even without a pattern, but why not do it the easy way if someone’s already laid out good instructions?
Now, you know we’re going to want to see the finished products!
I’ve been wanting you to sew clothes for so long! I can’t wait to see what you make.
These look so cute.
I love polka dots! Can’t wait to see the finished skirts.
I have this book! I love the project ideas in it. Haven’t used the book to make a skirt as yet.
Okay now I’m a little worried that y’all seem to be taking me seriously, like I might sew something at any moment. If you had seen my office / sewing room lately…
That looks like a cool book. If you’re going to sew anything three dimensional it should definitely be a skirt. It was the first thing I was taught to sew. Maybe once the office is cleaned up a little?
That’s one of the goals of cleaning up the office (again) before Xmas guests – that afterwards, I’ll actually be able to DO something in here besides type on the computer.
