Me: no ulcer. bloodwork was okay. i was supposed to go back last week to Discuss What This Means but was sick, ha.

BTB: Damn it. Medical mysteries suck!

Princess: i feel like i have 2 or 3 pencil erasers stuck halfway down my throat. but i think the anti-acid medicine in the morning which i did for 10 days was actually helping and then i stopped when i was sick and it’s definitely gotten worse.

BTB: Jesus, the thought of that nearly throws me in a panic – I don’t think I could stand it! So that points at acid reflux?

Princess: i think that is going to mean acid reflux that i did not notice at all until it scarred up my esophagus.

BTB: But when they look at your throat they don’t see any pencil erasers?

Princess: they did not look for pencil erasers yet. it could perhaps still be pencil erasers.

BTB: I really think they should. You live with a toddler. They can wedge pencil erasers almost anywhere without you noticing.

Princess: i need to bring that up, obviously.

BTB: I can’t believe you haven’t already.
