- Amy’s Ice Cream (flavors: pumpkin and sweet cream)
- Brown rice
- Parmesan cheese (in his ear, required his dad to use the plastic bulb thing to suck it out – can you imagine how embarrassing it would be to take the baby to the doctor for an ear infection because you dropped cheese in his ear?)
- Whole wheat capellini
- Sauteed tofu with a bit of mushroom
- Vanilla low-fat yogurt
- Fresh spinach
- Macaroni and cheese
- Ice water (not really a food, I guess)
I bet the ice cream and ice water went over real well. These things happen when you have no choice but to breast feed and eat at the same time.
When my daughter was just over a year old, I was visiting my sis in Chicago and she made me a cocktail right before I was going to put the kiddo to bed. As I took it from her and had my first sip, my daughter bumped into my leg and vodka and cranberry juice dripped down onto her head.
So don’t feel too bad for getting a little whole wheat pasta on yours. ;-)
