Hilarious. I guess the good news is he didn’t keep trying.

He was very matter of fact about it, like it was a totally normal thing to do! I guess we’re lucky he’s not in karate so he’s not whacking himself in the face?
Jennifer, I’m hoping it’s not possible to choke yourself until you pass out.
Shirley, thanks so much for your concern! If he’d been using anything but his hands, yes, absolutely there would have been a significant talk. And to be more clear, the whole “test” lasted about five seconds.
My oldest son took karate for several years and learned how to control his body. It was really good for him. He did learn how to choke someone who might attack him…
Too cute!
I just figure as long as he’s doing it to himself, he’ll know when to stop…?
Kids are funny!
~laughing~ Kids. I love ’em!
Ha! That’s hilarious!
Oh my gosh, that’s hilarious. Kids are just so darn funny.

These are the kinds of quotes that I LOVE. Amazing.
Bahahahaha! Kids are so funny! I hope you keep a journal with every little thing they say in it:)
Megan it’s basically whatever makes it to the blog, and we do look back on old posts from time because we enjoy them.
Kirsten, I read mom blogs before I had a kid and one of my favorite things was all of the kid quotes. So I’m just trying to do my part!
Oh my goodness! That made me chuckle. Your Boy Detective is going to love reading these little snippets of his childhood when he is older.
Oh gosh I hope so. ‘Cause the other alternative is he’s going to think there’s something wrong with me for typing them all out.
Kids are crazy and have their own way of doing things. Gotta love it.
Hilarious! Kids say the funniest things, even when they are serious about it.
Ha! Kids are totally the best!!!!!
Sounds a little scary to me. Grateful he stopped but I’m sure you had a talk with him.
